WWF’s Marty Spitzer will attend and present at REM 2016. In 2015, over half of all wind power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in the US were executed by non-utility customers. Mr. Spitzer will discuss how corporates are becoming more active in shaping the electricity landscape, from direct deployment to working with regulated utilities and on policy to expand their renewable energy options.
Renewable Energy Markets (REM) is the clean energy industry’s most important annual event focused on the states, businesses, organizations, and households that choose clean, renewable electricity every day.Since 1996, REM has been the leading forum for the clean energy marketplace, and is attended by leaders from federal and state governments, large corporate purchasers, the nation’s leading utilities and electricity generators, and marketers from around the world. REM is organized by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions, with significant support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
REM 2016 will be held October 16–18 at the Parc 55 San Francisco–a Hilton Hotel in San Francisco, CA.
